Before you get started

Is PDF to Word conversion free?

After registering and verifying your email, each account can convert and download one small file per day for free, up to 20 pages and 10 MB. Unused daily allowance does not roll over. For additional conversions, you can buy a single conversion or a plan with Alipay. See the pricing page for details.

Which PDFs can become editable Word files?

PDFs with selectable text are currently supported. Try selecting and copying a passage in a PDF reader, then check the copied text. Conversion quality depends on the fonts, reading order, and layout of the source file. Review complex layouts in Word after conversion.

Can I convert scanned PDFs or PDFs made from photos directly?

Image-only scans require OCR to recognize the text first. This version does not currently support those files. Please use a PDF with extractable text; image-only scans cannot currently be converted directly in LightDoc.

Can I edit text and tables after conversion?

The output is a DOCX file, editable in word processors that support this format. Complex tables, merged cells, columns, and special fonts may shift or change. Review the text preview first, then download the file to check the table structure and full layout. An exact match with the original PDF is not guaranteed.

How do I download the complete Word file?

Verify your email, sign in, and upload your file. After conversion finishes, click “Download complete Word”. You can select one file at a time. Failed conversions do not consume your daily free allowance. Downloads are subject to the applicable file limits and available allowance.
